Brackets do not come installed on rail. Brackets can connect anywhere along the base of the rail via self tapping screws. There are no pre-drilled holes in the base of the rail. This allows for precise alignment of brackets with wall studs. Made in the USA. Comes with matching plastic end caps to provide superior protection of your wall during installation. The handrails are made from 2″x1″ aluminum radiused extrusion tube to allow for ease and comfort of use. Handrail is approximately 3 ⅝ inch deep once installed from the wall to the face of the rail. The handrail has a minimum distance of 1.5″ from the wall to the back of the handrail. The high strength brackets and railing meets load requirements of 200 lbs or more. The handrail brackets are made from 1/8 inch flat stock steel and 3/16 inch steel solid plate.
